Challenge produces both pressure sensitive and heat seal
labels employing traditional as well as UV flexography.
As the market has changed, Challenge has kept its sights
on the future. We have continued to develop products that
anticipate the needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers before
they become requirements. One such product is the RFIData
label. In a recent report, the FDA stated that it expects
widespread use of RFID tags by 2007. Challenge offers them
today, fully integrated with product labels, produced in-house.
Listed below are a few of our specialty labels.
The Challenge RFIData
label integrates the RFID tag with the product label. Challenge
is the first pharmaceutical printer in North America to provide
complete RFID integration in-house.
The Challenge MultiPly®
label is a two-layer label that offers more label “real
estate” and can be used to include Drug Facts, important
product information and patient instructions.
The Challenge PharmaScript®
is a booklet-style, extended content label designed exclusively
for pharmaceutical applications.
The patented Challenge
RemovaTab®
label was designed with removable adhesive tabs which can
be peeled by pharmacists and affixed to prescription bottles.
Specific drug instructions or RSS barcodes are just two examples
of applications.
